    I stayed at Palacio Julio for 3 nights on a leisure trip. The location was perfect, just a block away from the Zocalo and close to all the main attractions in the historic area. The staff was extremely courteous and accommodating. The public spaces in the hotel were beautifully designed, giving a grand and elegant feel. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for rooms with a view.

    Beautiful hotel with cathedral views of the town and the mountains beyond and very friendly staff. Hot breakfast and a huge variety of goodies. The nicely furnished room & tiled bathroom. Excellent location, 5 minutes' walk to a superb private museum. 10 minutes walk to a bus station...

    The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the city. It is easy to walk to-and-from all the activity of the town square, and it is very close to the city center. You can easily stroll to the "Puerto de Veracruz" restaurant at the downtown and arrive at various sites. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff is kind and helpful.

    The staff at the hotel is not very knowledgeable about tourist attractions and does not provide much assistance in planning your activities.
